Sasa's sponsor

I had the great pleasure of visiting my sponsor girl Sasa and her parents.
Thary's hospitality was exceptional, I thank her from the bottom of my heart for her dedication to children and their families. I was impressed to discover that the school has a medical center including a nurse, a dentist, a psychologist, and even a gynecologist.
The school is concerned about how educate youth to the environment through a composter and a permaculture garden.
Families are supported with packages of basic necessities.
Strong bonds unite adults and children in a family atmosphere.
I am very happy to have joined this organization. Thanks to Tina, Mimi, Thary, the team work in Cambodia and Paris for their comitment.

Lita's sponsor

Everything went well. The meeting with Lita was moving and natural as well. I can barely find the right words to explain it... I felt like I already knew her before. I was so thrilled to see her, to hold her hand and to have her beside me. I also met her big sister Chariya. All of them guiding by Mimi and Thary. Tuesday, we visited her grandmother. We couldn’t see her mother because she was working. I was pleased to have met Mimi, she’s from Canne, just like me ! I plan on visit her when she gets back home. Finally, I was impressed by the school, by the organization and all of accomplishments routed in constant reflection. Everything is well prepared. It’s amazing ! The girls are full of joy, smiling, attentive in class. We notice that they are happy.
I am proud to contribute on this project.
This was my first visit to Cambodia ... certainly not the last one because I only stayed 2 days in Phnom Penh. There are plently of reasons to go especially when I intend to keep this bond with Lita and to see her as much as possible.

Sophin’s sponsors

Upon our arrival at Happy Chandara, we visited the three locations (primary, middle and high schools), as well as the boarding school. Then we met Sophin, which was a very emotional moment. At lunchtime, we shared our meals with the students and teachers. We then visited Sophin’s family and she genuinely seemed happy to introduce us to them. We wish we had had more time to spend with them or a longer tuk-tuk ride with Sophin on our way back to school, but we could not keep her away from her lessons. We will cherish the memory of Sophin’s smile, and of her 6-year old sister Sovin as she hugged our daughter Cynthia. At the school we could really appreciate the extent of the work done by “Toutes à l’école”. We actually feel the association should be renamed as they are not just a school. The teaching program is strong, and the teachers are very dedicated, but there is also great medical and dental support available to the girls, their families, and actually the whole village. We are very proud to contribute, at our level, to this great project !
