Our mission

Why girls' education?

Girls’ education moves the world forward

Access to education for girls is one of the major issues of this century, as their education level reflects the degree of democracy and freedom within a country. In emerging nations, women’s education also helps reduce child mortality, control birth rates and prevent pandemics.

Girls are future mothers who, if educated, will pass on the best to their children.

The commitment of Toutes à l’école

In 2005, journalist Tina Kieffer founded the association Toutes à l’école after a trip to Cambodia, deeply moved by the children’s living conditions.

Her objective: to provide high-quality education in Khmer, English and French so that the girls may become free and educated women, able to contribute to their country and build a more environmentally respectful world.

Today, the Happy Chandara campus educates and supports 1,700 girls – from kindergarten to their first job.
