UNESCO Recognises the Agroecological Farm at Happy Chandara Campus

UNESCO recognises the agroecological farm of Toutes à l’école in Cambodia as part of the International Decade of Sciences for Sustainable Development (IDSSD).

This distinction highlights a unique educational model in which science and agroecology serve both women’s education and environmental protection.

Since 2016, our farm, located at the heart of Happy Chandara campus, has introduced students to sustainable farming practices and biodiversity protection. In 2025, it reached a new milestone: more than 25 tonnes of fruit and vegetables harvested, contributing to the 2,000 meals served each day.

This recognition reaffirms our conviction: educating also means protecting the planet. We thank our partners and congratulate our teams for their continued commitment.
