Our guardian angels

Girls’ education is, in my view, one of the most powerful levers for transforming societies. By presenting Les Maternelles, I was able to be as close as possible to educational issues and the concerns of families. This experience showed me how crucial the early years are in building children’s self-confidence and ambition, especially for girls. Unfortunately, there are still too many girls around the world who are not in school. Yet an educated girl becomes a woman free to choose her life and also contributes to the future of her community. Supporting girls’ education therefore means taking concrete action for greater equality and progress. A cause deeply aligned with my values.
