Today, International Day of Education highlights the importance of access to schooling for all children. According to UNESCO, 132 million girls are still out of school worldwide.
For Toutes à l’école, girls’ education is a priority. Every day, 1,300 young Cambodian girls from highly disadvantaged backgrounds are educated from kindergarten to the final year of secondary school on Happy Chandara campus.
In parallel, 400 post-secondary students are housed, provided with meals and supported throughout their higher education until their first job within the association’s two residences in Phnom Penh, near the universities.
