The NGO Toutes à l'école, founded by journalist Tina Kieffer in 2006, supports 1,700 disadvantage girls and young women in Cambodia in their studies. 1,300 pupils receive bilingual instruction from kindergarten to the end of secondary school on our campus “Happy Chandara” in Prek Thmey which is 13 kilometers away from Phnom Penh. Moreover, 400 post-baccalaureate students are housed and monitored in our two dorms located in the heart of the capital near the universities. They all our students benefit from comprehensive care (food, medical and social) for themselves and their families.
In this context, we are looking for a :
Campus manager
Reporting to the Board of Directors of Toutes à l’école and working in close collaboration with the Cambodian delegate director. The Campus Director's mission will be to support the success of 1,700 students from kindergarten through to their first job. To achieve this, he/she will :
- implement the strategy decided by the Toutes à l'école association
within the allocated budget
- manage the various departments of the pre- and post-baccalaureate campuses
(Some fifteen departments including pedagogical, medico-social, bursar, etc.,
support functions... for 330 employees)
- lead teams and establish a good social climate on the campuses;
- ensure compliance with and performance of the educational curriculum;
- supervise the reporting required by major funding bodies;
- represent the establishment in local bodies.
Requirements:
- Experience as CEO of a large organization,
whether or not in the humanitarian sector
- Strong work capacity, pragmatism, responsiveness and flexibility
- Commitment, persuasiveness and mediation skills
- Fluency in French and English
- Experience abroad would be appreciated
