We have been waiting for this big day for twelve years. Since our first school day, we were hoping that some, if not all of our little first graders would take, and pass the baccalaureate exam.
From this class of 98 students, 74 took the exam in August, every one of them passed.
100% passed at Happy Chandara when the Cambodian average this year is 66%. It tells us that we chose the right path: giving the poorest children a high level of education is amazingly effective for their motivation knows no limit.
A new adventure awaits them: attending university and living in Chandara Students’ Home.
They cleared path ahead for the “younger sisters” to a chosen future. We are so proud of them!
