World Health Day – Medical care on the Happy Chandara campus

At the Happy Chandara campus, comprehensive medical care is provided from kindergarten onwards. A specialized team – doctor, dentist, midwife, nurses, and psychologists – regularly monitors the students throughout their studies.

From the age of 5, the girls are taught oral hygiene through the distribution of toothbrushes and mandatory brushing after lunch.

Our psychologists, in close collaboration with the social services team, support students facing difficult family situations.

For older students, workshops on sexuality and reproductive health are organized, in a Cambodian cultural context where these topics are still too rarely addressed.

In addition to this internal work, volunteer missions regularly strengthen our actions: @bioderma_missions_solidaires carry out complete check-ups, the association Pour les Yeux du Monde provides ophthalmological care, and the NGO All Ears Cambodia ensures hearing follow-ups, while Hattha Vichesas provides osteopathy treatments.

A huge thank you to all these professionals who are committed to the health of our students, but also of the campus staff and families whenever needed.
