Just before the holidays, we celebrated Khmer New Year on the Happy Chandara campus. This is an important traditional event in Cambodia, as it marks the beginning of the new year according to the lunar calendar.
As tradition dictates, we invited the monks from the village pagoda for a blessing ceremony. It was a beautiful moment of reflection to wish luck and prosperity to everyone.
The celebration then continued with a traditional apsara dance performance by our high school students, popular games, and music. A joyful day of sharing for all staff members and students!
