Building Decent Homes for the Most Vulnerable Families

Many parents of students at Happy Chandara campus in Cambodia live in precarious conditions, in shelters made of wooden planks and corrugated metal sheets, without essential facilities. During the monsoon season, these homes are often severely flooded.

In just one month, two stilt houses made of fibre cement were built, equipped with access to drinking water, sanitation and electricity. These homes provide a safe and suitable environment, essential for children to grow up in better conditions.

Thanks to Habitat for Humanity Cambodia and the Fondation Filles et Femmes d’Avenir, Toutes à l’école has built and renovated more than 98 houses since 2022.
