Who we are

Our initiative and our projects

Our objective is to implement teaching methods which develop each student’s creativity and which renew with Cambodia’s traditions and values of peace and equality in a country whose points of reference have been lost since the Khmer Rouge regime.

Special attention is given to pupils’ health : medical check-ups, vaccinations, screenings, dental care, nutrition (breakfast, lunch and 2 snacks/day), and hygiene.

The Happy Chandara middle school opened its doors on September 13, 2011 after 9 months of construction. This building, with the same lay-out as the elementary school, is constructed on 3800m2 and situated 150 meters from the primary school.

Boarding began when school resumed in September 2011 to welcome the most destitute, abandoned, or abused girls. Thirty one young girls now enjoy the warmth of home life in this residence. It is our duty to protect our students outside school hours and walls.
